This policy covers Matterhorn Goods, our store, and the orders you place there. The Matterhorn website and app have their own Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy explains what Matterhorn Goods, our store at trymatterhorn.com/goods (the “Store”), collects when you shop with us, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Store is run by Matterhorn Travel LLC, a California limited liability company, 3223 West 6th St STE 101 #1071, Los Angeles, CA 90020, United States (“Matterhorn,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

The short version: we collect what it takes to make and deliver your order, and nothing more. We do not track you, show you ads, or sell your information.

1What We Collect

When you place an order: your name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number if you give one, and what you bought. Payment is handled by Shopify at checkout. We never see or store your full card details.

When you email us: your email address and your message.

While you shop: one cookie that remembers what is in your bag.

That is all. We do not collect your browsing history, run analytics, or build advertising profiles.

2How We Use It

We use your information to make, ship, and deliver your order, to send you order and shipping updates, to handle returns, refunds, and questions, to prevent fraud, and to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We send you marketing email only if you choose to receive it, and every one has a way to unsubscribe.

3Who We Share It With

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the companies that help us fill your order:

Shopify, which hosts our Store and checkout and processes your payment.
Our supplier, which receives your name and shipping address to make and ship your order.
Shipping carriers, which receive your name and address to deliver it.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, our customers, or others, or if our business is sold or merged.

4Cookies

The Store uses one essential cookie, to remember what is in your bag. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.

Checkout is hosted by Shopify and sets its own cookies under Shopify’s privacy policy.

5How Long We Keep It

We keep order information for as long as we need it to fill and support your order, and for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting records. We keep emails you send us for as long as we need to respond.

6Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask for a copy of it. Email goods@trymatterhorn.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

If you live in California, you have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not sell or share your personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.

If you live in the UK or EU, we use your information to fulfill your order and to meet our legal obligations. If you ever have a concern, you can also reach out to your local data protection authority.

7Where Your Information Is Processed

We are based in the United States. Shopify and our suppliers may process your information in the United States and other countries.

8Children

The Store is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date above.
